    • 5 out of 5 This boot is the most comfortable boot I've worn. Great for mountainous terrain, and relatively warm. Great ankle support, and the laces are tough. Short break in period, meets ARMY regs. This boot is definitely worth trying.

    • Not Durable, fell apart

    • 2 out of 5 Though light and comfortable these things fell apart in 4 months in Kandahar. The lace eyelets got chewed through by the laces and then the side stitching on the boot cloth blew out. I was not on patrol, I'm an ofice guy and walking around is too much for these. They are made in China piles of crap.

    • 5 out of 5 Bought Jan 2013 specifically for 26mi ruck march in New Mexico desert in March. Outperformed my best expectations. Excellent cushioning, stability, fit. Worked well with knee high compression socks with nylon under-liner. Not sure they will hold up in daily rugged use, but they were the next best thing to running shoes for my event. No break-in required for me. If you have orthotics, don't remove the insole - buy a little bigger boot. Good ruck-runner. A more flared heel sole might have helped for the sand but overall perfect for me.

    • 2 out of 5 I waited quite a while for these to come in and was very disappointed. I love my Altama Jungles and was looking for a boot made with the same quality but with a little more comfort. I stayed with Altama thinking they were going to be just as well made. WRONG! I swear to you these reminded me of knock offs you would find in Asia. Yes they are a little more comfortable but made with cheap materials. If you're looking for quality, this specific Altama boot is not it.
