Had to change sole - original was't very good. Other than that - very comfortable.

These boots replaced some boots that fell apart in Afghanistan. I was with an INF platoon and stayed outside the wire for 10 months. They lasted through every dry and wet terrain in Afghan. They are very heavy in comparison to boots coming out these days. I replaced the in-soles after one day as they are very uncomfortable, with a pair of Blackhawk warrior wear in-soles (Blackhawks fell apart in the terrain I was in). They are warmer than normal hot weather boots.

i have taken these boots through the gauntlet. when i first bought them i was at fort polk, louisiana. now ive been in afghanistan for 8 months. ive had these boots for about a year and still love them. the soles are great for comfort, the only downside is that their stickiness results in lowered treadlife if you mainly use them on concrete/asphalt. also the tread pattern doesnt excel on hardpacked snow and icy areas. where the tread does excel is in sand, gravel, dirt, and rock (very sticky to smooth rock face). also they are pretty good in water, and they dry quickly. i love these boots.
