  • 4 out of 5 Picked up a pair of these on deployment in 08. They were the most difficult pair of boots to break in I have ever had. When I would squat down and bend the toe upward sharply the leather over the top of my foot would put tremendous pressure down where it bent and cause substantial pain. Between missions I began a regiment of soaking them in hot water and walking them wet I long as I could stand. They finally broke in and are now my absolute favorite boots. 5 years later and the soles are nearly slick . No issues with the leather, the laces, the stitching... nothing. The boot is as tough as John Wayne.

  • 5 out of 5 I own a black pair of Altama jungle boots 19 years. This is my second pair from them . Very comfortable right out of the box. Wear a size 12 sneaker and ordered a size smaller, fits perfect. The service from Boots was great, I would recommend them and will be purchasing from them again. Thanks

  • 5 out of 5 I have owned a pair of these for the last four years. They are by far the most comfortable, durable boots I've ever owned. I won't even entertain the idea of another boot. Im only buying another pair because the other ones are stained from four years of heavy use.worth every penny!

About Altama Mil Spec

  • The Altama Mil Spec is tailored to the specific needs of military and law enforcement agents. Each boot is nine inches tall and features a Panama sole pattern. Genuine Cordura and suede uppers are durable, but soft enough to allow the foot and ankle to flex when needed. The padded collar adds to the comfort and the midsole features a heat barrier, which comes in handy when marching on hot surfaces. The combat boots are particularly well suited to warm weather, since they feature CoolMax lining and removable inner soles. Made in the USA, the boots are made for those who fight and defend this nation.
