Break in period sucks, but decent afterward.

I got this boots not too long ago and they are not what I hoped they would be. They're tough to break in, the first day I had them I wore them around walking for several hours and developed large blisters. The break in time is not very good, but once broken in they are nice boots. They are very durable, but you pay for that in the weight.
About Altama USMC Hot Weather Combat
The Altama USMC makes traversing every sort of terrain possible. This particular style allows one to trek in harsh climates without heavy materials dragging them down. Each boot consists of nylon, leather and air mesh lining. The lining prevents moisture from accumulating in the boot, while the nylon and leather protect the foot from sharp or dangerous objects. Also, the USMC does not incorporate any metal within the boots. This allows for optimal comfort while hiking or running. The boots also feature shock pads that absorb the majority of impact when walking or running and contain nylon-coated brass speed hooks/eyelet lacing system for fast and easy lacing. Adventurous individuals will enjoy sporting these boots.
Altama is a leading provider of Mil-Spec boots for the U.S. Department of Defense. Founded in 1969, the Georgia-based company got its start by equipping soldiers with olive drab jungle boots during the Vietnam War. Four decades later, it continues to supply U.S. Military, federal, state and local agencies, military schools, police and Special Forces with aggressive, top-of-the-line footwear. In 2003, Altama gained more fans when it was the first to introduce its Original Ripple Sole Boots for civilian use. These combined elements provide the versatile support soldiers require when on duty in various types of environments.
