Blackhawk Battle Bag

This bag is well made and more than ample for its intended purposes, but I purchased it as a Get Home Bag and it is much too small for that. That is totally my fault, not Blackhawks. If you want a true GHB, you will need something that will get you portable storage that will support a 3 day supply. Probably something like a 3 day assault pack, but I wouldn't want to walk the streets with something on my back that looked like I had planned ahead and had something someone might want. A medium sized black back pack might be better. The primary reasons I purchased it was for its transparent map holder in the bag flap and its various compartments. It is a Battle Bag. Nothing more. You could throw some 30 round mags in it as well as a bunch of pistol mags, maps, 1 or possibly 2 MREs and some water as well as an FRE radio and you would be good for defending against the mutant zombie bangers for a day or possibly two, but it is definitely not large enough for a 3 day supply of anything. With that said, I will heartily admit that the Blackhawk Battle Bag is very well designed and built. I really like the inner zippered compartments and it is a wonderful DayBag. Plenty of room for everyday stuff and necessities. Even a nice area for a concealed and carry weapon with a couple of Velcro clip holders that will keep them from being buried in the bottom of the bag. If you need a good enhanced Messenger Bag, this is a excellent choice. But be aware that it is a day bag. For a 1 or 2 (stretching it) day bag it is more than ample. But never as a bag that would need to supply your needs for more than that. The quality is definitely there as is the design and functionality.
