Based on Blackhawk's High Performance Fighting Uniform’s success and the evolving needs of customers, they have modified the original design to create the new HPFU V.2 with I.T.S. (Integrated Tourniquet System). Blackhawk 's High Performance Fighting Uniform (HPFU) is a revolutionary approach to the combat uniform, featuring a lean, athletic cut with articulated knees and elbows for increased performance, mobility and reduced bulk. Constructed with no-melt, no-drip materials, the HPFU uniform integrates eight life-saving tourniquets into the arms and legs of each garment and meets U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research tourniquet requirements (USAISR).

I went to an airsoft MilSim game with a marine buddy of mine. He had some of these shirts because he had used some military issue shirts that are just like this, and loved them. I was lucky enough to be able to try one on, and let me tell you, these shirts are the best! They breath perfectly, and allow you to have free movement in the arms. I have found that a lot of BDU jackets can restrict movement, but this shirt does not.
The shirt seems to be designed with plate carriers in mind, as the cammo is only on the sleeves, and not the whole shirt. The non-cammo section of the shirt is where the plate carrier is at, so the makers of the shirt chose to leave it with a very breathable material. An excellent design choice.
If I had the money I would purchase as many of these shirts as I could, and not for airsoft either.
