Former Navy SEAL Mike Noell was on a mission in Afghanistan when the strap on his issued backpack broke, falling onto a land mine. Fortunately, it did not detonate and he made it out alive. Still, the experience stuck with Noell and in 1993, he founded Blackhawk with the ultimate goal of creating no-fail gear for military and tactical professionals. The brand's background is a large part of why every piece of clothing, equipment and footwear has to meet meticulous standards before it's ever released. Military personnel and first responders need gear they can trust, which is why they choose Blackhawk time and time again.

I got this bag when I first got my pistol. It holds everything I need for my weekly short trips to the range. An example of what it holds: OUTSIDE COMPARTMENTS - one pistol w/ 3 mags ( when not worn) - holster ( when not worn) - 100 rnds. Ammo ( 2 boxes, I've have as much as 300 rounds in it though) - folder with 8.5 x 11 targets ( the folder does stick out by several inches) INSIDE COMPARTMENTS - small med kit -eye and ear pro. -small flashlight - batteries for ear pro, flashlight, and light - wire ties - clips for target holders -roll of masking tape -small towel
