Former Navy SEAL Mike Noell was on a mission in Afghanistan when the strap on his issued backpack broke, falling onto a land mine. Fortunately, it did not detonate and he made it out alive. Still, the experience stuck with Noell and in 1993, he founded Blackhawk with the ultimate goal of creating no-fail gear for military and tactical professionals. The brand's background is a large part of why every piece of clothing, equipment and footwear has to meet meticulous standards before it's ever released. Military personnel and first responders need gear they can trust, which is why they choose Blackhawk time and time again.

These short are very confortable to wear , i did used them for diving , cave expedition and shopping in hawai also. The cargo pockets are unfortunely not deep enough; they need to be redesign in my opinion so i did use the rear pockets that are perfect to water bottles. very good for all purpose missions (tactical or everyday life)
BlackHawk Ambidextrous Multi-Use Holster

I just got this holster. I have been using the Blackhawk Inside The Pants Clip Holster and have liked them. But I was wanting to be able to carry an extra mag. Found this one at Walmart and it fits the bill. I have modified it a bit though to meet my needs. Made it for RH only and took off the strap that holds the mag in its pouch - since it is almost imposable to get it out when the holster is inside my pants. Also sewed some felt on the side next to my skin to keep the gun and mag from scratching me - since I don't wear a tee-shirt under my shirt. I love this holster since I have made these modifications.
