Utilizing a first focal plane, the reticle is placed in front of the lenses, allowing the reticle to appear to change size depending on magnification. All of the air-to-glass surfaces are covered with multiple layers of anti-reflective coating, providing higher-contrast images and reducing eyestrain. Bushnell uses an O-ring seal and nitrogen purging to create a fully waterproof and fogproof device. Immersion or rapid temperature change won’t interfere with the functionality of this scope.
