  • 4 out of 5 This is honestly a good bag. I have had one for a year now. Be aware that the lbe-like belt wraps above the navel on the torso. so if you are running a vest rig, like 3 5.56 mag holders across the gut, you may want to dismantle it. In the hydration pocket there is a little pocket that contains a plastic back support plate so the bag does not sag in the rear center. A fifty pound load for three hours destroyed my soulders, however. The Tactical Tailor bags are better and by that I mean like $150 more for a bag this size better. But, none the less, this is one of the better bags out there, buy it if you cannot afford TT Camelbak will not let you down.

  • 5 out of 5 This is the best out there hands down. A little pricey but bombproof. It has the dual ASIP antennae ports and two cordura loops inside that hold them down closer to the radio(s). Plus pen holders, pockets galore and lotsa MOLLE/PAL tabs. I have bought alot of bags but this bag beats them all. Get one. It's worth every dime.

  • 4 out of 5 The cargo area itself is great, the waistbelt is fine. The Hydration system is great. The only problem is that if you have a chest or shoulders then the top portion of the shoulder straps and all their hangers for quick equipment are at about at the level of the top of you shoulders. Drawing a knife at the level of your ear is not suitable, unless you like to have your ear splayed open. G.E.C.

  • 5 out of 5 I got selected for a random advanced search at the airport with this bag as my carryon and the TSA had trouble finding all of the compartments!

  • 5 out of 5 First of all, this backpack fits very comfortably on my back. The lumbar support is truly amazing. Unlike most backpacks, the side that fits against your back is very breathable, so there is no moisture building up making it uncomfortably wet. I hit two high peaks in the Adirondack mountains yesterday with this pack and it was amazing! It held up extremely well to the cold weather ranging from 4 F. to -15F. The molle attachments makes carrying gear and anything else extremely easy. The price is steep, but it is well worth it!

About CamelBak

CamelBak collage An IV bag, a tube sock, a clothespin and a thin hose—this was the very first version of a CamelBak. Michael Eidson concocted it in preparation for a grueling 100-mile bicycle race through Texas. As a medical technician, he knew the importance of hydration. As a bicycle enthusiast, Eidson realized the advantages to being able to hydrate hands-free. Years of design improvements and research later, Camelbaks are more comfortable and easier to use. They also have a very different look from the tube sock inception. It may seem that Camelbak has perfected the hydration system, but its innovative employees are committed to developing new styles and gear.
