  • 5 out of 5 If you are serious about outdoors action you need to seriously consider this pack. Plenty of room inside for day long activities and the build quality can't get any better. Definitely the top of the line and Tac Gear has some of the best prices going.

  • 4 out of 5 I bought this thing in April of 2010 and it's served me well since then as a Sea Cadet on several Marksmanship and Seabee trainings. The pack it's self is durable, there isn't a single stich missing and it can carry a surprising amount for it's size. The bladder carries enough water for constant sipping for around 3 hours as well, and the water doesn't taste like plastic unless it sits in the bladder overnight. The one problem I have with it is the spout protector came off, and it's very difficult to reassemble, so I can only rely on the ON/OFF valve to stop leakage. Also, make sure you screw on the cap as tight as possible, or the bladder will leak when pressure is put on it. Otherwise, its a great product.

  • 5 out of 5 Bought this back in 2001. Has been through many hikes, bike rides and other adventures. I'm on my 3rd bladder with it. It has survived sliding down the highway under me at 20 mph with no holes. Would buy another in a heartbeat, but the way this one is lasting I don't think I will need to.

  • 5 out of 5 This hydration pack is amazing. I used the bladder itself on my first AT trip. The pack is great for day hikes and biking. It's a great size as long as you are planning on bringing minimal extra things.

  • 5 out of 5 I absolutely love this pack! I own the military version of the M.U.L.E. Color is woodland camo and uses a 100 oz. bladder. It has two outside pockets...top and bottom. It has two rows of web gear lashing points on bottom pocket for attaching additional pockets or gear. I use this pack for mountain biking as well as a light day pack. This pack is used by U.S. troops around the world. I've also owned the regular civilian version and have only great things to say about it as well. I used that one for mountain biking only. The military thinks these packs are good enough for our troops...they are def. good enough for the average public.

About CamelBak

CamelBak collage An IV bag, a tube sock, a clothespin and a thin hose—this was the very first version of a CamelBak. Michael Eidson concocted it in preparation for a grueling 100-mile bicycle race through Texas. As a medical technician, he knew the importance of hydration. As a bicycle enthusiast, Eidson realized the advantages to being able to hydrate hands-free. Years of design improvements and research later, Camelbaks are more comfortable and easier to use. They also have a very different look from the tube sock inception. It may seem that Camelbak has perfected the hydration system, but its innovative employees are committed to developing new styles and gear.
