This battle-tested pack will hydrate you when you need it most. The reservoir boasts an impressive 3 L (100 oz.) to keep you from scrambling for water in high-stress situations. The style features the industry's largest opening with a ¼ turn open/close so that the seal stays secure without overtightening. With D-ring attachment points, you can better distribute the weight of the pack. The shoulder straps unclip easily so removal is a cinch, and with the built-in pocket, stow-away is simple.
Quick shipping and loving my new camelbak thermobak 3.! Thanks!
It was great. Plus it was delivered right away. Thank you
Overall, this is an awesome hydration pack, but they totally skimped on the straps. THEY SUCK. The pack, hose, and everything else is very nice, but the straps that go on your shoulders are thin, cheap, and rough on your skin if you're wearing a tank top. Other brands have MUCH better/PADDED straps, as whoever designed them HAD A CLUE and realized if your shoulders/chest are rubbed raw you're not in any kind of comfort. Totally amazing that the straps are as thin/cheap/rough on the skin as these straps are. If this pack came with nice, padded straps, I would give it a 5-star ... but because it comes with thin, cheap, Mickey-mouse straps, I can only give it a 3. That's lame and I am pissed.
Excellent, after returning 2 different hydration pack's, this finally gets the job done.
Versital Use camelbak
Bought this for my son. It is a upgrade from the older 2L(still good and usable 10yrs old). This new 3L gives him more water and the 4 rings - he attached a small zip pack with all his extra carry items. The new quick turn cap and size is a plus also the cap on the hose. He uses it for mountain biking and hiking. Very comfortable and light weight, rugged with full range of movement. Recommended for anyone looking for a great quality product that will withstand tough use and hold up at a reasonable price.
Bought this for my son who mountain bike rides some tough single track. He zip tied his aux small pack on the 4 rings. Carry's all his tools, accessories and energy bars. He loves it. He still likes his old one but it was 2L. On long rides having another liter of water is good. He loves the pack. I myself still use an older 3L woodland camo with a aux pack zip tied on it. We both also ride single track dirt bikes and these packs take a beating. My friends use the civilian ones and there is no comparison to a camelback. Highly recommended. For a little bit more money you get a quality pack. The old toon you get what you paid for. Buy one and you will never look back. A little add on advice. We have never put anything other than Water in our camelbaks and never had odor or mold. Enjoy your sport.
This camelbak is perfect for what its designed to do, people complaining about it not having room for other gear should have bought a different model, the opening on these is big enuff to get ur hand in it to clean it making it great for putting gatorade or things other than h2o, in it, this version makes putting ice in it easy, my camel has seen two deployments to afghanistan, and has performed flawless, now I use it chasing whitetails, for quiet drinking and hands free, this pack really is bulletproof, it works as good today as it did brandnew, one of my favorite pieces of gear!

I have had mine in Multicam since 2008, and it has seen me through rain, snow, heat, and anything else you could throw at it. I work outside currently aside from shooting in competitions, both with Military, and other civilians. I had matters in 2 states that have nearly cost me my life, working as both a mentor, and Security Professional. I have been on long bus rides, 20 mile bike rides, 13 mile hikes, Live Shooting Matches, Airsoft Dynamic Shooting Matches, and daily workouts, all with this product. I expect a whole lot from my gear, regardless of what the situation may be. It works 110% of the time, even after 4 years of near constant use.
I Love Camelbak BUT...
This is unquestionably the Best product in the market for hydration. it is versatile and performs incredibly well both in hot and cold climates. The ONLY drawback is the price...
Works great! Just bought a second one in Multicam
I used a Camelbak 3L Thermobak in ACU camo for my entire mobilization training (4.5 months long) and never had a single problem from it. No leaks, kept the water nice and cold all day. If you're in a really hot area like I am, I suggest going behind the dfac and getting a bag of ice...load your Thermobak down with as much ice as you can, then fill with water. The ice will melt due to the heat and you'll have nice, cool water all day. This was a lifesaver during mob. Funny, when I was in Iraq, I never wore it because we had ice chests with 1L water bottles literally EVERYWHERE we went. Would've worked great there too though. I'm going to use it for hydration on long bike rides now. Looking forward to some much-needed cardio training (injured in Iraq...getting better now...)
Gets the job done, but that's about it.

I'm an avid hiker, and take this with me every time. It's very sturdy and can hold more than enough water. It has many, many improvements over the cheaper civvie models, which is why I decided to go with this instead (anti-frosting cover on the hose and better nipple, for example). It's very easy to take down and clean, and very simple to operate. The only drawback is that you can't store anything large in this without it seriously diminishing your ability to store water in it. You can probably get away with a compass, some papers, small items in there, but I would not use this as anything more than a day-pack/water-pack. If you intend to use this as a backpack as well, you should definitely get the larger models built into a backpack.
Incredibly light and perfect for the job
This camelbak is amazing. It easily fills up and is nice a light too. It fits a good amount of water, but doesn't have much room for anything else, which fit my needs. This thing is a must have if you plan on going on short hikes, cycling or are just doing anything outdoors in the heat.
I bought this camelbak right before a short deployment to Saudi Arabia. It preformed perfectly through the heat and sand. The bladder is very strong. It dealt with being squished in a Humvee and between ammo cans with out popping. Definitely worth the price.
I love this water container it is light weight durable and keeps all of are armed forces safe and hydrated Buy it and be satisfied, Hydrate or Die
