  • 5 out of 5 I go hiking a lot so this watch is awesome when you need to know direction, altitude and whether a storm is coming over the mountain. I had a Casio Forester for 8 years that had the same features so I know that they make a great product.

  • 5 out of 5 The coolest, most feature packed G-Shock you'll find for the price. If you read the manual and understand the features, you'll be able to get the most out of this dynamo.

  • 5 out of 5 The screen is easy to see and the light works great for dark conditions. I haven't had a chance to check the barometer and altitude for accuracy but appear to be ok. The temperature tends to read somewhere between your body temp and actual temperature. For an accurate read it needs to be off your wrist for atleast 10-15 minutes which limits its usage as a handy temperature gauge. This does limit the temperature feature somewhat but is still cool. Overall I love the way this watch looks and functions. It is sturdy and waterproof. I have already tested it at the beach and in the pool. Pros: Attractive color and design with nice features. Cons: Pricey for a digital watch. I wish the temperature sensor was accurate while on the wrist. Overall very satisfied and would by a G-Shock again.

  • 5 out of 5 I have had many high speed watches in my day but this one is one of my favorites! Rugged, easy to use and just a great watch for anyone who works outdoors. Very accurate (you must know how to use a baromoter and understand that the temp will be higher than the actual temp when the watch is on your arm) and user friendly. The led light is BRIGHT! All in all, I really like this watch even when compared to my Suunto MI X9 ($500 watch

  • 5 out of 5 The watch came in the new hexagonal black tin from G-Shock. The watch is not a dark black color. It is very matte in color and almost a really dark grey which I really like. The texture of the watch band is great. Hard to explain exactly, its a mixture of plastic and rubber. The watch feels great on the wrist, not too heavy at all. The display is very bright and crisp. The pictures don't do justice, you really have to see it in person. One big thing I noticed is the four red sensor dots on the left of the watch are not as big as they look in pictures. They are actually pretty small. I had thought they were buttons at first but they are actually the sensor for the barometric pressure Overall Extremely happy with this purchase.

  • 5 out of 5 I received the watch in less time than originally estimated so that's always a plus. I purchased this G-shock for its altimeter function and durability and so far it has exceeded my expectations. The face is large and the backlight is an amazing blue. It was able to automatically decipher between the elevation in one of the buildings I work at while riding the elevator. I would recommend this G-shock to anyone.

  • 3 out of 5 its a g-shock: big, resistant, nothing to worry about. but the extras (thermometer, altimeter and barometer) are not as reliable. the thermometer catches the heat of your body, so you need to take it out and wait to get a proper temperature. the altimeter and barometer go crazy all the time. it is a good watch for general use, but mediocre if you depend on the informations from the extras.
