TRU-SPEC Poly / Cotton Twill 1/4 Zip Combat Shirt

5.0 star rating Perfect for search and rescue

This is perfect for a spring or fall day of search and rescue training or on a mission. Sleeves are thick enough for brush. The body is flexible enough as a T-shirt. Pairs nicely with a base layer or just by itself. The orange is vibrant and hiViz but not obnoxious. I own three of these in different colors.

So cozy with a base layer underneath, my go to for cold winter days out in the snow. I have three of these.

The Combat Shirt Destination

Now a battle-tested staple, the combat shirt didn't exist until the early 2000s. It was developed as part of an Army initiative known as the Objective Force Warrior program. The program aimed to find innovative solutions to soldiers' uniform and equipment issues. One of its main accomplishments was the lightweight, moisture-wicking combat shirt. The aggressive camouflage sleeves still offer maximum durability and concealment, but the torso is made from breathable, thin material that keeps you cool and comfortable. The modern combat shirt boasts the same design in a multitude of colors and styles. There’s no need to sacrifice functionality for comfort with our combat shirts.
