  • 5 out of 5 These were perfect right out of the box. It didn't take more than an hour to break in and they feel like high end athletic shoes. I walk a lot and these are great boots. I'd buy another pair without reservation.

  • Best desert boot I've ever owned!

  • 5 out of 5 I live in Phoenix and work around high voltage equipment. I’ve had these boots for about a week now and wanted to thank Converse for making such an extraordinary boot. They are light, strong boots that fit like a glove (I have a wide foot) right out of the box. No break-in required. The soles are not as aggressive as most of the boots I’ve owned and don’t pick up and retain the small pebbles I constantly have to walk in. It’s been over 100F for the last 3 days and my feet have been cool and comfortable all through my 12 hr shifts, and haven’t picked up any odors or caused any blisters of any kind (I’m required to walk 6 or 7 miles a day). I just hope our men and women in Afghanistan have as good a boot as these.

About Converse

Converse collage In the winter of 1908, Converse Rubber Shoe Company commenced production on rubber-soled footwear. It wasn't long until the shoes were picked up by tennis and basketball athletes because of its flexibility and traction. Today Converse stands its ground as one of the most celebrated brands in the world—garnering dozens of nicknames for its shoes, including Chuck Taylors. In addition to sport-specific footwear, Converse designs boots for hiking and military. The brand name also appears on clothing and accessories. Converse boots provide the same comfort that can be found in its athletic shoe styles. For those who spend their workday on their feet, Converse footwear is a smart, well-performing choice.
