Good overall Boot

These are my first pair of Rapid Response boots and overall they are very good. Appear to be well built & sturdy. They are comfortable for a boot. However, they are a little stiffer than I expected. Will take a little while to break in. Also, the tounge is very padded, much thicker than I expected. The boots do run slightly large, I suggest buying a 1/2 size smaller than you normally wear.

These are by far the very best boots I have ever owned hands down. They are like wearing 8 inch sneakers. I will be buying another pair soon. The pair I have now, I wear about 16 hours a day for pretty much 6 months now. I want a new pair due to the fact I would like to wear a soft toe when not working. One heck of a job Converse!

These are my third pair, first two I got while stationed in Kuwait/Iraq. Now I use them for everything from garden work, my job and outdoors pursuits such as hunting and fishing here in the Rockies. Very comfortable, rugged, easy on the feet. When these wear out, I'll be getting another 'cause they just don't come any better.

Thirdpair for me, I work the streets in Memphis, hot summers. Its like wearing a pair of high sneakers. Great support, easy on, and they do take a shine. I'll buy another pair. Law enforcement plus+++++++++
Can't beat 'em for the price

I have had these boots for 2 years. I primarily wear them in the desert and for hunting. They fit well and have held up really well. My 2 sons and son in law (LE and former military) liked them so much that they all have them now.

I have tried Danner, Original Swat, Matterhorn, Tactical Research, Harley Davidson, Doc Martens and Bates. All have been very good boots, but these Converse are quite amazing. I have flat feet and I am on concrete 10 hours a day. These boots make me feel like running and jumping when I walk through the plant. They are very light and "springy". I am going to order another pair in black for hiking this winter. They do seem to run a little wide because I usually wear a EE but I am wearing a D in these. And by the way, the zippers work well and seem to be of very good quality.

Very comfortable, especially for standing around on concrete for several hours. I have a narrow foot but the Medium fits fine. I live in a hot climate and this boot isn't any hotter than my Ropers. Not very stealthy though as this boot makes a lot of noise when I walk and the sole easily picks up twigs and rocks. Overall, I'm satisfied.
Good but they run wide
Reviewer: Henry | Albuqueruque, NM
I really like these boots. Nice & tall, soft sticky soles, chunky zipper, good look, ... .
My only, and fairly large complaint, is that they run quite wide. I normally wear a medium, but these mediums are so wide I have to put a second insole in for them to fit ok.

This my 2nd pair and when the time comes I will buy them again. I wear these boots every day for work doing construction. I even wear them around the house on weekends. They are the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, Combine sneakers and military boots use great material and this is what you have.

I didn't buy from this site, but do own the boots!!! I work Fire/EMS around my town and can't say enough about these boots! I have had them ankle deep in water with no water in the boot itself!!! Worn them during ice and snow with no slips or problem with traction!!! They are 3 years old and feel great and after a quick shine still look good!!! I have turned several friends to these boots and am buying a pair now for my Army uniform!!!!
Pure comfort right out of the box!!

Just received my boots today and I've got to tell you they're the most comfortable boots I've ever put on. I'm wearing them around the house this morning to try them out but I know I'm going to be very pleased with this purchase. I'll update later on after I've worn them for awhile but I'm going to order the black ones now. Great boots!!
In the winter of 1908, Converse Rubber Shoe Company commenced production on rubber-soled footwear. It wasn't long until the shoes were picked up by tennis and basketball athletes because of its flexibility and traction. Today Converse stands its ground as one of the most celebrated brands in the world—garnering dozens of nicknames for its shoes, including Chuck Taylors. In addition to sport-specific footwear, Converse designs boots for hiking and military. The brand name also appears on clothing and accessories. Converse boots provide the same comfort that can be found in its athletic shoe styles. For those who spend their workday on their feet, Converse footwear is a smart, well-performing choice.
