  • 5 out of 5 These are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn. I had foot surgery and bought a pair of these boots and my feet stopped hurting. They are like walking in tennis shoes and easy to run in. Wished they would of stuck with these instead of going to rebook. I would love to buy another pair if I can find them in my size.

  • 3 out of 5 So like one of the other writers I have torn up ankles and these boots offer the best support out of all of the ones I have owned. They are confortable and just an over all great boot...but they have one issue. The eyelits of these boots stretch..yes I know they seem like hard plastic but on some of them they have begun to stretch and it will be a matter of time before they snap. This is a great boot for day to day army office work but i dont think they will survive combat

  • 4 out of 5 The boots seem to have changed at least for the pair that I was sent. The eyelets 5th and 6th from the bottom no longer have the strap supports. Just the same as the rest of the eyelets. Needed boots (not my logger type) with the high top support. This model should work if you don't mind the laces needing to be almost taken out near the top to get them on and off. Very nice boots other wise.

  • 5 out of 5 This is my first "sneaker type" boot I've ever owned. I'm an old school soldier who was issued black boots. When I was first issued the desert boots before depoying to Iraq I thought I finally had "happy feet". But after trying on the Converse Rapid Response I knew these were the most compfortable boots I've ever owned. I order the same size as my sneakers and the fit was perfect. The boots arrived in about 3 days and I got them on a Friday. I couldn't wait for my duty day Monday to wear them so I walked around the house in them. There is no real break in period but there is a getting use to period. The boots made me feel as though my heel was higher than normal and I felt like I was walking a little different. That went away in about five days. They do have a lot of padding and it took a while to find proper tightness I needed with the laces. I was a little concerned that with all the padding they might be hot. Not a probrem in 90 degree heat and they look OUTSTANDING! I get asked about them everyday. BTW I shopped around and Militaryboots.com has the best price by far.

  • 3 out of 5 Great boot for cold weather!!! I read the reviews and bought them because of them. I put them on in Texas inside a my living room at 72 degrees to start to break them in. By the end of the night my feet were soaked. They do not breath and have no ventilation. I will bring them to Afghanastan for winter because they are comfortable but need warm weather ones now.

  • 5 out of 5 I have a pair of these that after break in, they are awesome. Mine are in multicam and only gripe is they rubbed a raw spot below my ankle bone during the break in process. Great traction and very light.

  • 5 out of 5 Wanted a pair of these and got a great deal here. Wore out my Blackhawks and tried my old issue jungles, can't stand them now. These are well made and no breaking in. I can get away with just slipping them on with out tieing them and carry a pack.

  • 5 out of 5 There's nothing to say but "wow"! Lighter than the Danners I've been wearing and that's saying a lot. Padding supports my ankles and the boot has a natural feel when I step. The sole has amazing tread and is wide so helps with preventing ankle rolls on rocks, etc. Took me an hour or two to get used to the heel since it's not flat; it has a natural curve like your foot. Cannot say enough and this is only day 1 of wearing them.

  • 5 out of 5 Purchased the Boots when i was serving in Afghanistan. Seen another soldier there wearing the boots and inquired into them. Was spectacle but gave them a try. No break in period and provided an excellent set of boots. The grip provided me with stable hikes and got me where I needed to be. Purchased another pair at the end of my tour and those as well has given me great service.

  • 5 out of 5 This is my second pair of these boots. I ordered my first pair in Afghanistan and wore them 16-18 hours a day. They last a long time and are super comfortable. They don't even need a break in time, the first time you put them on they feel amazing. I would recommend these boots for everyone.

  • 3 out of 5 The only thing I don't like about them is that they are too puffy!! As in the padding is too thick or something. Very light, seem to be well made, just too thick...
