The lenses, made of G15 polycarbonate, are able to withstand the impact of a 12 gauge buckshot fired from a distance of 45 feet. The 4-rivet assembly on the sides use dual-sided 5-barrel hinges coated with Teflon to stay in place, all making for a sturdy yet sleek pair of sunglasses perfect for the outdoors and use in hazardous environments.
