I just received these boots for Christmas and have not filed tested them yet. But, I can tell by looking at them they are a superior product, heavy duty and well made. Looking forward to trying them out on 1/2/15 for muzzle loading season in Ohio.
Irish Setter Gunflint 1000-Gram Hunting Boots

It does take some time to get them broke in.
These boots are perfect for the person that does a lot of very slow still hunting or stand hunting. They are way too warm to be used for drive hunting.
Irish Setter Gunflint 1000

I can honestly say these boots are the best hunting boot I've ever worn. This past late season doe hunting in January here in Nebraska was bitter cold. It was -25, our deer we left in the shed were frozen stiff. I sat outside for 5 hours a day for three days, twice a day, and only after the sixth or so hour did my toes feel a chill. These boots are the real deal. Tough as nails, i wore them as an every day boot this winter too.
Not yet a work boot

Just received these boots today, they feel good right out of the box. Here in the Northeast, with all the global warming going on, I need 4 sets of boots during the year, Cool, Cold, Frigid, & below zero! Feb 7th here in NY, still frigid & night time temps of +10- -5. I have bought a hunting boot for work before, but never had good luck with them, first time with Irish Setter, will wear to work
