Actually using it to carry my tools and test equipment around a plant power, The small tight profile allows me to climb tight ladder configurations and walk narrow platforms. Able to walk freely with both hands free now.
Good bag but wish it was a bit bigger.

First off I will state that it looks smaller then compared to the picture on the website, and for that it gets 4 stars. Otherwise it is a decent bag! I purchased mine as an emergency get out of dodge bag, and right now it is holding 2 medkits worth of supply, a flashlight, tarp, hand axe, knife, rope, and another knife. I plan on adding 3-4 dry meal bags to it if I can. There are plenty of MOLLE for various attachments so I will also see if I can find something to connect a rifle to with so e ammo pouches. I am still experimenting with tbis bag to see if it can fully fit my needs. I still have room for my 10 inch tablet and cell phone in the front. All in all it is a decent bag for the price just wish it was bigger but if tbe MOLLE features to this bag can compensate its size then I will be one happy individual!

I purchased the backpack for a High Adventure trip with the boy scouts. I needed something small enough to carry with our food and camp packs and canoe. We go on the trip in July, I will have to see. I am a little concerned it may be too small, but that will force me to minimize what I take.
Well made and good looking pack.

I use it as a pack, plenty of space for a glasses, earmuff, holster and cleaning kit... A+

My wife says i have a bag fetish. I say i just like efficiency. This bag is my EDC bag. It also serves as my diaper bag for my new son. I keep 3L of water, baby gear, couple magazines, Sig P226, steno pad and pens, daughters inhaler, contacts and solution. On the outside i've attached a 4x6 to keep my camera and camcorder and also attacked my binoculars with some tac ties. Cant get any better in my book.

Life can be hard on gear, especially on those everyday packs and bags. Understanding how taxing the daily grind can be on kit bags, Maxpedition utilizes only the highest performing materials. Its story begins in a small workshop in 1988, where experts were dedicated to creating hard-use, military-specification nylon gear. It wasn't long before this commitment to producing durable bags was well-known throughout the world. Despite Maxpedition's international and domestic success, it continues to develop even more user-friendly designs and only uses quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Adhering to its philosophy of constant self-improvement, Maxpedition gear can withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the office, the gym or even that next mission in the field.
