Maxpedition Rollypoly Folding Dump Pouch
Khaki / Foliage
Orange / Foliage
The Rollypoly is Maxpedition's licensed adaptation of the elegant MM Folding Dump Pouch design. Precisely sized to hold seven M4 30-rnd mags, stacked either vertically or horizontally, it also functions as a dump pouch for shotgun shells, M4 magazines, or pistol magazines. Alternatively, the Rollypoly is a multi-purpose utility pouch suitable for evidence collection or general storage. It has snag-free elastic shock cord closures that pull from the posterior side of the bag. A velcro flap which maintains the pouch in its folded position, doubles as a lid or can be concealed completely within the bag. In its folded state, the Rollypoly is a mere 3" x 3" x 1.75", saving precious belt space, and can be attached to MOLLE or PALS webbing by means of 3" TacTie (sold separately). A top loop allows the Rollypoly to be piggy-backed using a Duraflex Siamese SlikClip (included). Grommet located on the bottom allows for quick drainage.

I wasn't certain just what I'd be getting when I bought this pouch, but I was very pleasantly surprised. This is a really cool little unit that expands to a good sized pouch. Sturdy construction, and really folds up to about the size of the picture. You can use it for just about any purpose.

Made of great quality. I absolutely loved this pouch. It's the medium size, so it's not so small it hardly holds anything, but it's not so large it gets in the way. It rolls up super small when not in use, about the circumference of a 12oz soda can. The ONLY reason I gave it only 4/5 stars is because it would be nice if it were able to directly attach to MOLLE webbing without needing to buy the extra straps. Otherwise works fine with a belt.

I'm very happy with the products and generally the service. However, one of the items was back ordered. I should have either known that when I purchased that or received a notification ASAP with the option to cancel. As it was they simply notified that some of the items shipped and some were back ordered. I would give 5 stars if I didn't have that issue.

When folded, it is 3"x3" and can be attached with a variety of methods to your belt or gear. It opens up to 6"x8" and is large enough to hold; water bottles, empty magazines, shells, your lunch, eye & ear protection,

This is a very cool piece of gear. I work in professional audio, and I can't count the number of times where this pouch has been the perfect thing for the job. Everything from holding mounting hardware for a speaker while standing on scaffolding to collecting microphones backstage after a show is done (by the way, this pouch will hold 8 wired or wireless mics perfectly). This is a constant companion for me at all the gigs I do, its just too handy to leave behind.

It's a bag that rolls up and holds itself in a compact package and I have one within reach camping collecting kindling, shooting holding my brass, or running errands stuffed with snacks for the kids my rollypoly bag is essential. When in not use I roll it up and stuff it in my EDC bag.
Life can be hard on gear, especially on those everyday packs and bags. Understanding how taxing the daily grind can be on kit bags, Maxpedition utilizes only the highest performing materials. Its story begins in a small workshop in 1988, where experts were dedicated to creating hard-use, military-specification nylon gear. It wasn't long before this commitment to producing durable bags was well-known throughout the world. Despite Maxpedition's international and domestic success, it continues to develop even more user-friendly designs and only uses quality materials and meticulous craftsmanship. Adhering to its philosophy of constant self-improvement, Maxpedition gear can withstand the rigors of the outdoors, the office, the gym or even that next mission in the field.
