Men's 5.11 Covert Cargo Pants

Don't like the zippers they are not smooth and get hung up. Other than that I'm happy with the pants.

1st of all a good pair of pants. Comfortable. Get the job done. Lots of good pockets. Downsides to improve on. Zippers didn't hold up well. I've had both the zippers tear or get stuck. I've had the tab on the zipper come off. Inside hidden pistol pockets are great, but should be specific to 1911 or double stacked mags. The 1st version of these were better for us carrying single stacks. These will fit Glock or double stacks better. Good belt loops

I have tried many different brands of operator cargo pants and hands down these are the best constructed and easiest to wear. The hidden top pockets conceal a pocket pistol because the top pocket prevents the outline of the pistol from being seen.

These pants are outstanding like all of 5.11's pants, they are very comfortable, high quality and durable...my second favorite pants, my first being the tac lites. They look like regular pants without a military/police give away look and still are sharp. The OD green ones I received are a good color green not as dark as the picture looks which I think makes them look more casual. All I can say as with all other 5.11 pants I've ordered I recommend getting an inseam size one size larger that what you would normally get and then they should fit perfect especially after washing because they shorten up a little bit.

I wear these pants everyday. So far I have a pair of the Tundra and OD colors. I am in IT so my job functions takes me all over the place. For office environment I spend time in the Board Room in these pants. I also get dirty out in the plant. I've worn them climbing from a boom lift out onto a catwalk gantry, and used the pockets to carry all my assorted IT Cable Testers, Wire Crimpers, Cutters, and other assorted tools I need for the job. They wash and wear better than any other pants I've owned.

I can definitely see how someone who wanted to load up on round counts and be low profile this is a good option..Contractors and L.E.O. probably love it. Even for regular folks who don't work everyday in Iraq or Afghanistan or in Law Enforcement, the pants sometimes need to carry a lot (keys, cell phone/Blackberry, pencil, notebook, flashlight, wallet-not in back pocket, camera.....etc.) especially in non-jacket weather. These pants make it easy to do and can be worn in a casual work environment. Every day. For Camping, Hiking, Backpacking they make for a good pair of pants because zippers make it hard to lose important items like lighters, flint, tinder, knife sharpeners, gloves, hats, keys, wallet, camera, small survival kit, bear mace, swiss army knife. That's what makes them perfect. They carry more than other cargo pants securely and bridge the gap between work, casual, tactical, and outdoor. I'm impressed. It was worth the money and should catch on well. I'm sure the color choice will expand once people try them. If they could make a lighter quick-dry version it would be a good variation.
