Sturdy, comfortable fit enhanced by elastic waist band, lots of handy pockets. I bought them a size too big so I can wear heavy long-Johns underneath--they still look and fit good when I wear them without the underwear because of the elastic waist band.

Better than average bdus, will buy more. Quality build.

I agree with all the good things said above. In addition there is a small inner pocket in the right pocket in which the barrel of a small CCW (I use a Kimber Solo) fits perfectly, thus no other holster is needed. My only request is, being left handed, I wish there was an identical mini-pocket in the left pocket. If you do that, I'll buy another 3 pairs from you!

5.11 designed a really nice pair of tactical pants in this product. As I looked over the pants when they came in, I found myself saying "Wow, they've thought of everything" multiple times. All except for the fact that the "cell phone pocket" is not wide enough to fit a smart phone. But then it may be designed specifically for a certain type of radio or feature phone used by operators and not for fancy smart phones. I love how the back pockets have angled tops instead of horizontal openings. That is awesome. I also love the short piece of reenforcement along the edge of the back pockets for adding support where you clip a knife. I haven't worn them much yet but they feel really solid and I have no doubt they are going to hold up well. The only thing I can recommend (besides buy them) is to be careful on the size. I bought the same size as jeans I wear and they are a little tight around the waist (they'll snap shut but putting my Sig 1911 in an inside-the-pant holster is a little tough). The length is perfect. If you're unsure of buying tactical pants; buy these. They really are great.

I'm 5'10"/ 165 lbs, waist size 32" and I wear these in 32" x 30", the fit is perfect. I can't emphasize enough the fit is PERFECT. They're not so baggy where they get in the way, but they're baggy enough so you can stuff the pockets without hindering movement. The ripstop material is lightweight and very comfortable, and dries very quickly. If you do anything outdoor related ie: hiking; camping; fishing; hunting; "tactical freak"; etc... then I highly recommend these pants.

I bought these pants last month to wear while in Afghanistan. I've worn the 100% cotton version but thought to try the Poly/Ctn mix. Very pleased with the way have held up through about a 1/2 dozen wash cycles. The contracted laundry service has been known to be harsh on clothing but these pants held up well. The pants are cool which is a good thing as we experience 100 degree + temp range. I prefer the mix Poly/Ctn over the 100% cotton version.

I can't praise these pants enough...they are just about perfect in every way! I was looking for a good set of synthetic pants (my pants frequently get wet when working on the water), and I'm glad I chose these. They're strong, hard to stain, and has enough pockets for the vast amount of stuff I carry every day. The loops are plentiful, but are spaced out evenly, allowing you to carry things on your belt at convenient locations with minimal movement. A pistol can be carried at 4 o'clock, and cannot slide much forward or back, for example. The dedicated knife and flashlight pockets are incredibly useful! My pockets are now free, as my knife and flashlight have dedicated pockets. All of the unflapped pockets have reinforced corners, though that feature is usually for clipping things (like knives and torches); I use the dedicated pockets for those things, so I don't really benefit from those. On the topic of pockets, the main pockets are incredibly large and the access is extremely convenient. They meet at the sides, which affords you the ability to retrieve your wallet from the back pocket while sitting without shifting your weight; that's very handy at the drive-through. Perhaps the best feature of these pants is the gusseted crotch. It is almost impossible to split these pants at the crotch, which is invariably where all of my other pants fail. I will be ordering these pants as my others wear out, and highly recommend you give these a try!

I've had a pair of the heavier Tac Pro pants for about a year now. Living in South Texas they were just too heavy. The Taclite Pros are the best pants I own. They are very comfortable and durable. As soon as I find a nice blazer they will even become my dress pants. The one feature that they could benefit from is the rubber strips around the waistband to keep shirts tucked in during bending and stretching. Get a pair ( or five ); you won't be disappointed.

Since I was buying them from the internet I decided to buy them a size bigger than I needed, just incase. When I got them they were small so I need a larger size. Just as a heads up you may need to buy a size or two bigger than your actual pant size.

Living in Texas, the temps can really get high. These pants are great to work in. I am very pleased with these pants.

I have been wearing for two months. After several washings and hard work in the garden, still look new and are very comfortable. Not a paper thin pant like some others I've purchased, but still very cool on hot summer days.

I wear a 34x36 in Levis jeans. I ordered these in the same size but they were a little tight in the waist. Just got them in 36x36 and they fit great. The pants are well constructed and comfortable.
