Men's 5.11 Taclite Pro Shorts 11"

I normally don't write reviews, but these are worth it!!!! First, my wife thought I was ridiculous for ordering these and the fact that I was so excited about them. I ordered these since I have the pants as well and love them. I wore them earlier this month when I took a family vacation to Disney World. The temperature was around 90F and I didn't get that "sweaty" feeling under my shorts(shirt was a different story). My phone fit perfectly in the small "magazine" pocket on the outside and I was able to keep my keys secured in one of the cargo pockets. Plenty of room in these shorts!!!! The best part was when we were in the park it started to downpour and my kids wanted to go on the cars that you drive around in. I went and got soaked, my wife gave me her phone to put in my "ridiculous" shorts. After the ride, I was wet just about everywhere, I was sitting in an open top car just getting the down pour. After the ride, I looked inside my pockets and both phones were dry, not a drop of water on either one. My wallet and keys were also perfectly dry. Turns out my wife doesn't think they are so ridiculous anymore. If you don't have these, you need some!!!!

Love the shorts! Lots of pockets, comfortable, durable, and one of my go to garments.

I got these shorts because my Dept. already issues the Taclite pro pants. I love them. Being in law enforcement,there are certain things you must have with you on and off duty.These shorts were designed for cops.They have a dedicated knife/mag/flashlight pocket on the front-were it does not interfere with a drop rig for my Glock on duty,or anything else I might carry.The mag pocket I use for my Surefire backup- so I always have a flashlight and a folder at my disposal when needed.I could not reccomend these shorts any more highly.

Finally shorts that are long enough. Before I got these, people would mistake me for Lt. Dangle on Reno 911. Almost nobody wears short shorts anymore. The trend is long. Now, if they would just make them in larger waist sizes.

The addition of the 11" inseam option for the Taclite Pro Shorts was just what I was looking for. The 9.5" version was just a little too short for me. A 12" or 13" version would not be too long IMO. These are my usual off-duty shorts for most of the year and all of the great things in the Taclite Pro Short 9.5" remain the same as far as I can tell. VERY well made with reinforcements at critical areas and an excellent waistband. The rear "slash" pockets are great and the smaller front pockets are just right for a spare mag, knife, multi-tool, whatever.

These shorts, just like the pants, are very useful and well made. I love being able to keep my standard pockets free from clutter by keeping my knife in the front pocket and extra magazine in the mag pocket. They are still too short however. I am 6'4" and they still ride a bit high for my taste (above my knees). I would love these to be another 1-2" longer.

Overall a great pair of shorts! If you are a fan of the Taclite Pro Pants you will also love these shorts!

Very high quality short. The layout of the pockets seem to work out good for me so far. The velcro is holding up great and very strong. The material used breathes good, which helps a lot on hot days. The only thing that I don't like which is minor is that I wish they were a little bit longer legged. I have the 11" version and while standing they go just below the knee which is fine. When I sit my knees are expossed 2-3 inches. I'm use to wearing longer shorts I guess. Over all a very solid product.

The best cargo shorts by far. They don't look thugish, they look great after several days without washing, have pockets and loops where I want them. A perfect product.
