Men's 5.11 Tactical Pants

Great service and quick response in getting the pants to me. They look good and the fit is spot on (38x34).Only wish they came in a 33 length, but I can get them hemmed. Great pants, comfortable and they wear like iron. Will order more!

5.11 has set the standard for tactical clothing. Others try to copy the 5.11 style but they don't come near the quality. If you want good, quality tactical wear go with the original and not a copy.

You can read plenty of great reviews of these pants, and I agree with them. My first pair lasted nearly two years before I snagged them climbing up to the passenger door of an overturned work van at an accident I witnessed. If not for that, I'd probably still only have that first pair, but I got to be a good samaritan and now I've replaced those pants. But what I want to point out here is that I can put my iPad 2 in the back pocket of these pants. I hope it isn't a function of the (big) size of my particular pants, but it is handy to put the iPad in my pocket when I'm going out to the car or whatever. Obviously you don't want to sit down on the iPad, but for keeping your hands free, these pants work well.

I wore these pants on a recent trip to NYC. Got caught in an unexpected snow storm with actual temps at 19 degrees F°. My wife wore my thermals and I was left with just my 511 tacticals. They kept my legs dry and comfortably warm! I highly recommend these to any outdoorsman, professional LEO or military personnel! Great job 511 thanks

I have almost every color now. These are just extremely well made, comfortable pants. My first pair is about 3 years old and have been worn many times but still look great because they are such tough pants.

We have been getting these pants for years. Unfortunately, the fabric has gotten thinner over the years causing them to last less time, but still a good fit and good features.

Basically, I have been working at a Machine Shop for the last 10 months, and have the job of keeping the place looking good outside and in. I used to think Jeans were the only viable work pant, until I discovered that these are available in 34w 36l, which is a huge deal because I can't find jeans in that size. With these pants, I can carry my phone, my light, my knife, and my Multitool without filling my main pockets and looking like some 20 year old who just stole candy from a gas station. Given that these are intended for use in "combat", I figured they would hold up nicely doing yard work, and I can say that so far, everything is just great. I will DEFINITELY order more stuff from 5.11

I own four pair of pants and one pair of shorts. The pants are various colors. I wear them daily at a forward operating base in Afghanistan. Overall they wear well given the conditions, but stress points have pulled apart after only 4 months of use, the inside button on the fly has either fallen off or ripped out of every pair, some after only two weeks of wear. They are good for warm to hot weather, but not cold or wet weather. Overall, these are utilitarian pants, not high fashion.

I purchased my first pair of these pants almost 5 years ago and they just recently ripped at the lower left cargo pocket this year. They wore great although they are difficult to wash in a regular load of laundry. Everything considered they are amazing. I will purchase more.

I've been looking for a good pair of cargo pants for a while when I found these. That they come in colors other than black and kakhi seems nothing short of miraculous. I'm a professional computer geek who does a lot of network support, so having a bunch of pockets to stash an assortment of small tools, patch cords, and small bits of electronics is essential, in addition of course to the wallet that's way too thick to sit on comfortably, the PDA, cellphone, iPod, and a digital camera. My only complaint is that some have 5 belt loops and some have 7 and there doesn't seem to be any way to specify which way you want it. my first pair of black pants had 7 belt loops, the second had only 5. My green pants came the opposite. The ability to specify would not be awry. Personally, I'd also love to have another cellphone pocket on the other leg.

I bought these to use during in-service training at my police department. They work great and are super comfortable. I bought a size bigger to keep an IWB glock 36 and it works great for that.

The best pants for versatility and strength that will last thru the harshest environments and lengthy operations. Plenty of "easy access" pockets for all your gear and carry items. The "Ideal Field Pants" that can also be worn in casual places.

Have used this style pant for over 20 years as casual office and field training wear. Also excellent hiking pant. Thanks for keeping my size (36 inseam)
