Great boot at a great price. If I had to pick one bone, it is that the leather has a crinkly finish, and won't take a shine no matter what. In a tactical boot I guess this is fine, but I would prefer a hi gloss finish.

They look vibrant out of the box and have that classic look. #3 the sizing is pretty close to your normal shoe size. These are quite comfortable.They add about an incch and a half to your height.

Right out the box these boots have a quality WOW factor to them. As with all Made in USA items. Altama has been serving the military since 1969, from Vietnam, to Panama of 89 to Grenada of 83 to Iraq and Afghanistan....Do I have say anymore.. These boots have been everywhere. You want a quality boot, and a classic design, pick up a pair of these. Don't bother with an imported brand jungle boot, they won't last, but these Altama's will. I love mine and will where them for a lifetime, from the jungles of Costa Rica to the forests of Oregon.
