Men's Bates 8" Tactical Sport CT SZ

After wearing these boots for about 6 months I have had to do serious repairs. I work in a tire shop and have 2 little kids so funds are tight. these boots started having problems after less than 6 months. I've had to repair a zipper, and the stiching along the back over the heel pulled out, the velcro pulled off and the soles started peeling off at the ball of the foot. All in all if this is the quality of boots produced by bates I will never buy another pair.

Ive worn these and seen co workers in the military and time after tIme the soles fall off where it connects to the leather they are cheaply made and the hardest to keep a shine on

I have been wearing work boots for over 15 years and have tried most brands. I am a heavy man at almost 300 pounds so wear rate is a huge issue. These have become my favorites after Bates discontinued the Enforcers. They are comfortable and break in fast but do not last as long as the older model (about 8 months)

very painful on the shins to break in but after that they are very reliable sturdy work boot. my pair lasted 1.5 years working at a sawmill and now i am coming back for another pair, heard about these from a friend.

I have spent a lot of time in tactical boots over the years, and these are by far the best I have had the pleasure of wearing. Lightweight and durable, they are comfortable and provide the right amount of ankle support. They breathe well, and the composite toe is lighter and just as rugged as a steel toe. They may run just a little bit big, so if you are right on the cusp between two sizes, go with the smaller.

I love these boots! This is the first pair of side zips I have owned, and I won't go back! They are wearing well, fit well, and make it easier to get into quickly. I appreciate how easy they are to put on and take off. The soles are very durable, however I felt the leather could be thicker.

Good quality boot, except for the zipper. It is of lighter weight and the plastic material is not durable. All in all, I'd recommend this boot.
