About Belleville
- Belleville military boots have been in production since 1904, when Belleville Shoe commenced operations across the Mississippi River from St. Louis. Great Boot, poor zipper

1st off, I have these and love this boot. Zipping them on when you are half asleep is great. Also this boot breathes better than any of my hotweather boots to include the Rocky SV2.
The downside is they put a weak zipper on them. I have seen several pair with broken zippers. I told my buddy just to zip tie it but the whole face comes off the zipper so its broke. You really have to have the laces loose to use the zipper. DO NOT try to yank the zipper up to tighten the boot. As usual the fit half to whole size big so follow the size guidance.

Men's Belleville boots tend to run a full size too large. We recommend ordering a full size down. This means if you wear a size 10, you should order a size 9. Women's boots run true to size.
To determine your correct Belleville boot size, you can also use a Brannock Device to accurately measure the size and width of your foot. A Brannock Device is the metal measuring instrument found in most U.S. shoe stores.
All Belleville styles are available in men's sizes; however, we do offer many styles manufactured exclusively for women, also known as the Belleville "F" Series. If a style is not available in women's sizes, we suggest ordering the boot two full sizes smaller for women.
