Searching for a composite toe boot that won't weigh you down? Look no further. Blackhawk's Black Ops CT has an upper constructed of Cordura panels and full grain leather, which is resistant to both water and abrasions. The panels allow the boots to breathe and reduce weight. The SympaTex waterproof barrier offers even more protection against the elements. Thanks to the gusseted tongue, debris is kept out. The outsole is oil resistant and provides exceptional traction when traveling over mixed terrain. When carrying a heavy load, the steel shank provides much-needed support. Ensuring comfort are the polyurethane midsole and Ortholite custom molded footbed, which is washable and antimicrobial. These boots are made for protection and meet ASTM F2413-05 safety standards.

- Steel shank provides additional support needed when under the load of a full pack.

Great Boots

All in all a great boot. I am in law enforcement and am on my feet all day long. Not sure if everyone has the problem i do with the eyelet pushing on their ankle but once its adjusted its comfortable. Plus the polishable toe is great too for my job.

Been a LEO for over 13 years. This is the first boot I've ever bought a 2nd pair of. Each lasted about 2 years of daily wear. Comfortable, dry, quiet, great traction, great support, durable, and scuff proof toe (a must for searching cars). They seem to run a little narrow, but just seems to add to the support for me. If other brands are usually snug (width) you may consider ordering these in a wider size.

First time I used this boots, I did 10 mile hike on one of the Colorado 14ers. My feet were dry all the time during the hike, I didn't get any blisters. This boots provide good ankle support - didn't twist even once with 25lbs. backpack! The only problem it gets a bit hot in them, but lining wicks away all moisture and feet stay dry anyway, just get good boot socks, and you're good!

Good boots but only if the laces would last longer... Under normal use, they last for about 2-3 month.
