The full-grain leather upper can handle any conditions, but is built with aero-mesh panels for ventilation. An additional spider-mesh lining pumps heat out of the boot and ensures a cool, dry environment to prevent overheating. The tough rubber outsole provides optimum traction on uneven terrain and is supported by a Stabila-Flex lasting board, which enhances forefoot and heel balance. There is an EVA midsole that promotes arch support below the 3D2 contoured liner, which offers superior comfort for long missions or long days on the job.
