About Magnum

Springing from Hi-Tec Sports, Magnum's birth was a result of a request from the FBI for lightweight, athletic black tactical boots in the early 1980s. Pleased with the end-result, the FBI spread the word about the boots. Members of law enforcement and security agencies decided to try out the groundbreaking footwear. Throughout the years, it has continued to have a strong research and development presence. As its reputation grew, Magnum became a heavy contender in the footwear and apparel industry and officially separated from Hi-Tec. I bought a pair of these boots in March 2010. Had them broke in about two weeks. Took them with me to SFAS in April and couldn't have been happier with the performance of the boot. Easily put over 100+ miles on them. Still have them still in love with them can't part ways too much history in them. Overall I would recomend these boots to anyone who likes durability and long jevity from a comfortable pair of boots.

Have this pair of boots for 2 years and have used them from yard work, motorcycle riding, horse back riding and law enforcement work. With a little care, they still look new, shine up great, take a beating from interstate traffic to walking the river beds. Working in 100+ heat, it feels like my feet are in better shape than the rest of me, wearing all the equipment that a LEO wears. In 20 years of military and law enforcement, Magnum has been the boot for me. Even after trying other boots, I always go back to Magnum.
