Army-approved FR softshell provides core warmth in cool and cold weather. FREE IWOL. With a streamlined design, this Army-fielded vest provides core warmth for cold weather, high-activity scenarios without the risk of overheating. The triple-layer fabric features a windproof, waterproof, and breathable membrane and a fleece-lined interior. A back pass-through flap accommodates the CVC extraction strap. Designed for comfort when worn over uniforms and under tactical vests and body armor. Selected for inclusion as the Army's Light Weather Outer Layer in the FREE program.
The exterior of this vest features Massif’s proprietary flame-resistant technology and won’t support combustion in flash fire scenarios. The vest’s fleece lining features Massif Flamestretch and is constructed with DuPont Nomex brand fiber. Engineered with Massif’s proprietary knitting and finishing technology, Flamestretch provides built-in flame resistance, proven durable performance, and comfort from the inside out.Features

- Meets the strenuous manufacturing and performance testing requirements of the Armys Team Soldier Certified authorization program: PEO Soldier Certification Program
- Passes rigorous flame testing including the ASTM D 6413/F2302-03 for vertical flame resistance
- Tested in flash fire simulations on the pyroman thermal mannikin to demonstrate performance in burn scenarios
