Men's Original SWAT 9" Classic WP

I bought 2 pair of original swat boots at the same time. The 5" side zip and the 9" classic waterproof boot. I have the same issues with both boots. First off the boots are terribly wide even though I ordered the standard width and I even doubled checked each box to make sure. I have never had this issue with numerous other boots I have worn. Secondly the boot/insole has very little arch support and are the thinest I have ever seen in a boot. After wearing the boots for about 2 weeks I started having low back pain. I do stand about 5 hours per day in these boots. I bought some insoles with arch support and my back pain went away. This is the first time I have had to replace original insoles. The boots are lightweight and seem to be holding up fine although to me they do have that cheap material feel to them. I bought these boots because they were a good price but considering I had to spend another $40 on insoles that price isnt so great anymore. If you have a little wider foot and/or flat feet these may suit you fine.

I have worn a pair of these boots for three years, mostly whilst riding my Harley. They have been most comfortable from the day I bought them and wore them from the place of purchase. I would highly recommend these boots as they have served me well. These boots have stood up well, no great amount of wear on the soles, good for another year or two. I ride approx. 25,000 miles a year and plan to do so untill I can't hold the bike up no more. I'm 71 years old, so don't know how much longer, but rest assured these boots, or a new pair will be on my feet.
