I has been one year since I purchased these boots. I can say without a doubt they have been worn on duty (patrol) five days a week, many taining days and other events. I have no tearing on the outside, the rear heel area is not worn, no seams coming loose and the front toe area where the sole is attached is just that...still attached! I have not had great success with boots that will last over a year without some form of visible wear or stitches coming loose, eyelets ripping out, or just plan becoming very uncomfortable. The comfort is unbelievable. My feet hurt after a few hours in shoes or boots, mainly my heels. These are another story. They are also unbelievably light, I feel like I am wearing tennis shoes (that obviously go above my ankle). My supervisor swore by Original SWAT boots, and I gave them a try. I will not go back to the others. I am going to order another pair to have just in case this model disappears.
