Men's Reebok 8" Rapid Response RB CT SZ

I have the Converse version of these, and I've got some guys in my squad with the Reebok incarnation; there is no difference between the two. The boot is fantastically comfortable and lightweight. They serve well in both outdoor and indoor situations, and are great for long days. They're pretty warm so if you're in a cold climate these will do nicely. On the other side of that coin, if it is hot and sunny out, prepare for a serious case of sweaty feet; foot powder not included. Also, these boots seem particularly susceptible to icy surfaces when compared to most others. This winter I was out doing some work with my entire squad (AF) during a blizzard (how convenient), and the ground had iced over pretty well. I was definitely slipping and falling a lot more than people with other boots. Overall, the boot is pretty wonderful. I've had these for about a year of pretty tough wear and they still have at least another year of life in them.

I purchased these because the converse were some of the best boots I ever purchased, and these are supposedly the same. They are NOT. The zipper has been shrunk, its hard to get a good grip on now, and impossible if you have gloves on. The padding is gone from the insole, making these boots hard as a rock. Congratulations Rebook, you got my one sale but wont get any more of my money - one extremely disappointed buyer here. Its so hard to find boots comfortable in my size I was really looking forward to replacing these after several hard years of use, and greatly disappointed with the result.

I would rate these as less than one star if it allowed. The outer material is very tough, as in not pliable. I have had boots like this before, and with rugged use, the material quickly degrades; even with polishing. The side zipper is plastic, and you can hardly zip it up, with your foot in or out of the boot. When I walk, the material digs into the top of my ankle. I have owned several versions of Red Wing and their cheaper line, and this has never been a problem. A security officer at a plant I was working out had a pair of Converse and loved them; however, it appears Converse has been phased out. In the end, if you want a comfortable boot that will last, find something else.

I am on my 6th pair of these boots in 5 years.Don't know what i'll do if they ever quit making them .sure they feel a little moon bootish for a fewe days when you first get them,but within 2 weeks they're broke in.super light and comfortable.my only gripes are theyre not waterproof in the tan and the insoles only hold up for about 4 months ,i can sacrafice those 2 things for the comfort and the price being so good.as long as reebok doesnt change the style ,i'll keep buying them.

I get issued free boots being military, yet these work so well for me that I rather pay and use these instead. I'm on my 3rd pair and awaiting my 4th in the mail. Used them down range, Asia, and US. They're yet to give me a reason NOT to keep buying them. If I had to find one flaw, it would be that the soles don't seem to hold up like they used to.

Marked this boot down to 3 from 5 because the description of the boot is not what it seems. This boot is definetly a good boot to buy. The problem is I was looking for a boot the does everything what it says but without the moon boot feel as the Converse. Guess what? This boot is the same exact boot as the Converse brand (even the other Reebok boot being sold). I was thinking this boot would feel more minimalist to the ground, but with great quality. The quality is there, but the boot feels like I'm wearing snowboarding boots. While walking around I constantly hit my heal on the ground with these and the shape of the sole goes against my walking pose. For rucking and running, it works great for staying forward.

Picked them up a month ago working 14 hour days 7 days a week, up and down 18 stories on a construction site. Great fit and good traction.

Just picked mine up. Couldn't wait to get them home and try them on. Fit like a glove! Comfortable and one of the best quality, well- made boots I've ever owned! I'd recommend these boots to anybody!
