Its been three weeks now, they are very broken in. I am a tractor trailer mechanic who works in an outside enviornment , in a yard, so comfort is king. The water doesn't get in, and the boots keep my feet dry. With winter approaching, we will see how they handle some cold. The side zip is great for me, I have limited mobility in my left leg due to arthritis, so easy on and off works great. I have recommended these to my co workers.
