Men's Rocky S2V

I read alot of reviews, did my research and found that the negative reviews are from those of you who do not appreciate a light weight combat boot, that is what they are right! Get there like I do and enjoy. Thanks Rocky! 17 yrs of combat boots and I like this one!

I thought these boots were really cool and planned on buying some until we were in the field and one of my soldiers had a HUGE thorn go straight through the sole and right into his foot. Upon closer inspection I realized the soles were pretty much just some sort of rubberized foam. Light and comfortable yes, but after that I had second thoughts on buying them

I've had my s2v's for a year. Pros they are and they are light, provide amazing support, don't require breaking in. I do have to say they didn't last quite as long as i wanted, i wore the soles down to nothing, the stitching started to come undone around 10 months, they do require new laces about every 4-5 months, and are not quite well enough ventilated. But overall, these blow a pair of danners/blackhawks out of the water.

I have worn boots for over thirty years. This boot, right out of the box, was extremely comfortable. Furthermore, it's a good looking design and very durable. Best boots I have ever worn.

A friend of mine was selling his brand-new pair so I decided to give them a go. As soon as I put them on and started walking I noticed that the cordura panel over the left exterior ankle would "pop" in and out with each stride. The sound was annoying but worse I could feel it snap against my ankle on every step without fail. The left boot fit just a tad tigher also. I had some slight heel slip in the right boot. There are many other boots on the market way-more comfortable than these. Although many are not approved for Servicemen, Lowa for example is probably the most comfortable boot I've ever worn, even better than athletic shoes. The S2V's appear to be made well with excellent materials and would probably take a lot of abuse but overall I think they're they have a stiff and clunky feeling right out the box. I'd pass on these.

I'm a female and had to get the appropriate size which was not hard to do. They are extremely comfortable. I spent 195 days in Afghanistan without any foot problems. Returned to my civilian job and after 1 week started having foot problems. I'm wearing these boots to work and haven't had any foot issues. The laces do wear out but at the ankle bend from wear and tear.

I am deployed in afghanistan and i've had my rocky's for two years. when i bought them i didn't even have to break them in they are very durable and give great support and soft on the feet. The only bad thing i have to say is they eat up boot laces so i had to take the lace eyelets out and now they are good

Good, sturdy, and comfortable boot, but...after wearing them on a few long foot marches the back where the seam is just above your heel broke in weird so it became extremely painful to walk. :(

These boots are great; very lightweight and the sole is excellent. My knees aren't the greatest, and these make them feel great.

Fits true to size...light weight, not bulky, great feel all around. Nicely done! Ready for my second pair in another color.

Nice look to the boots. The footbeds are very comfortable. First set of boots that I have bought on my own and I am very happy with my purchase.
