Men's Tactical Research Khyber Lightweight Tactical SZ

Most comfortable boots I've ever owned from the very first time I put them on. I'm 6' 5", 300 pounds, I wear a size 13 wide and have high arches. Comfortable shoes are very hard to find. I wear these boots long hours and for a wide variety of activities, from prone rifle shooting, hiking / climbing and as a work boot. These boots are more comfortable than most athletic / tennis shoes I have owned. I've not had them very long but they show absolutely no wear and I usually destroy footwear in a short time.

I work a dog all day which includes a good amount of running. I have had these boots for about a month and so far they are the worst boots I have purchased. The ankle support are horrible, I come home everyday with pain in my feet and ankles. I can feel my heels moving in the boot with every step and both my big toes are starting to have cuts on them from the lining on the inside of the boot. Also it seems like the bottom of the boot are actually smaller then the actual boot which causes your feet to hang over the edge.

I am a corrections officer and on my feet for 8 hours a day. I really believed that I could not find better boots than my Bates boots. These boots are, hands down, better boots. They were comfortable straight out of the box. The only thing I wonder about is the zipper. I would and have recommended them to co-workers.

I bought these boots just to knock around in. They are comfortable right out of the box and look good. I ordered size 11EE which seems slightly wider than my Matterhorn 11EE's and in the Converse I am wearing a 10.5D. Now for the bad. The zipper worries me a bit. It is more like the zipper in my pants than a good heavy duty boot zipper such as the Converse boots have. I would order the zipperless model if you will be dodging enemy fire in the middle of nowhere! Overall, I do like these boots [for the tread, the style and comfort] but if I was going to be dropped in the middle of the desert, I would have to go with the Converse zip up desert boots.

Having tried 5 other pairs of 8" side-zip boots, these are by a long shot the most comfortable ones I have ever put on my feet. After long days jumping in and out of my UPS yard truck, my feet are not tired at the end of the day. They are holding up well after 3 months of daily wear. Light weight, true to size, shine up very nice, and exceptional styling. I will definitely buy these again, from BDU.COM, of course.

SOFT toe? & not waterproof. Tactical boots should start with a "kick toe" & waterproofing. ( unless your just conducting operations in nice weather or no chance of a flooded interior) These boots are for Hollywood!

Have only worn this boot for a couple days now, but it is very comfortable right out of the box. I work patrol and tactical and it appears to be a good boot for both. Only complaint is the zipper seems like it may not be heavy duty enough, but time will tell. I would recommend this boot.
