The Wave Kazan derives its name from the Samurai battle standard of “Furin Kazan” meaning “move as swift as the wind, stay as silent as the forest, attack as fierce as fire, and be as undefeatable as the mountain”. The striking upper design was patterned after topography and Japanese rock gardens. Mizuno's most versatile, all-terrain trail shoe let's runners glide smoothly over any type of ground. The decoupled X-groove midsole adapts to uneven surfaces as the X-lug outsole digs into the soft ground and grips dry rocks or roots while winding easily down a favorite trail. Trail-specific upper design gives the optimal balance of secure fit, protection and light weight.
