“Don’t tase me bro!” Okay, maybe just this once… Cops have to aim Tasers at a hodgepodge of criminals all too often. It’s much less severe than the handgun, but sure to stop wrongdoers in their tracks. Every once in awhile there just happens to be a camera around to record Taser encounters — the good and the bad. A cop may accidentally shoot himself in the heat of the moment. A cadet might not take testing a Taser very quietly. An unruly suspect resists arrest.

Also, if you are watching these at work make sure to plug in your headphones. There’s a lot of screaming and an occasional curse word in these videos.

Featured on FailBlog, this video shows how high an officer’s voice can go when struck with thousands of volts of electricity. Still, we have to give him props for letting them film the test, even if it portrays him in a less than flattering light.

Hey… a car chase! This one just so happens to end in an accidental tasering. With his adrenaline pumping and attention span not up to par, an officer tasers himself. Ouch. Luckily, he had backup.

The mystery of what Erik Estrada sounds like when tased has been solved. Thank you Armed and Famous. Although, we aren’t exactly sure if we really wanted to know that in the first place. Wait, did this show even air?

A teacher decided it would be a good idea to incorporate a Taser into his lesson on electricity. That’s dedication to the job. Hope those snot-nosed kids learned something that day, aside from what frying your teacher looks like.

Dear baseball fans, please stay off the field! This Phillies fan got a bit too excited and rushed onto the diamond during a game. Unlike the crowd, security was not amused. After his tasering and subsequent arrest, either was the fan.

Not sure who thought this was a good idea, but this video fails on so very many levels. Lighting a cigarette with a Taser? He’s lucky his friend has such steady hands because we’re pretty sure that getting tased in the face hurts like nobody’s business.

Moving on to the other men in uniform. What hurt worse — the electricity or the knock to the noggin? Although titled a fail, the Taser seems to get the job done successfully.

It’s the famous “Don’t Tase Me Bro” video. The University of Florida student decided to speak his mind at a town hall forum featuring John Kerry. After causing a disturbance, the officers tased and arrested him. Many felt that his freedom of speech was stomped on. Whatever the case, he enjoyed a uncomfortable 15 minutes of fame.

Although the authenticity of this clip is questionable, it illustrates why you shouldn’t combine whiskey and a riding lawn mower. Steve may have been on his way to the Oyster Shack, but he spent his night in the drunk tank. (There’s a touch of cussing in this one.)
