Do you live in a perpetual state of Transformer fandom? Well, even if you don’t, Transformers: Dark of the Moon looks to be a surefire summer blockbuster.
Despite its intricate backstory and non-stop action, tactical gear experts may appreciate the film for more than its special effects. In fact, it might be the first time they have taken note of a character’s accessories.
Instead of a poor-quality knapsack, the hero of the film Sam Witwicky shoulders a Maxpedition Sitka Gearslinger through his many dangerous adventures with his human and Cybertron allies. The single-shoulder backpack is easily rotated to the front of the body, which allows the wearer to effortlessly access the pockets and main compartments of the Sitka. With Decepticons chasing him, Sam can’t waste time fumbling blindly for his things.
The Maxpedition Sitka Gearslinger is composed of 1000-Denier water and abrasion-resistant lightweight ballistic nylon fabric. The top front, bottom front and main compartments all boast internal organization. Durable to the max, the DuPont Teflon fabric protector is grime resistant, making it easy to maintain and utilizes high tensile strength nylon webbing and thread. Fighting giant robotic beings and running from explosion after explosion can prove quite taxing on packs, so only the toughest ones will suffice.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is set to release on July 1, 2011. To get your Transformers fix prior to the film’s opening night, check out the most up-to-date movie trailer below.
