Oakley Panel Pack

Absolutely love this product. It is the laptop bag I have been looking for for years. I am 6 foot tall 300lb and this thing still fits me or my 5'4" skinny wife. This bag has tons of room for books and the laptop compartment is plain excellent. The side zip access to the laptop compartment is worth its weight in gold. Why don't more packs have this feature. the front pocket holds all of my power cords for Macbook, iphone, earphones etc. with plenty of extra room. I was skeptical about the side pockets holding a nalgene bottle. It holds my Guyot 40oz stainless steel bottle in my snowpeak 700ml mug great, with room on the sides. Whether EDC or combo, school/work/EDC - this is the best laptop compatible/functional pack I have been able to find. I had it one day and told my wife this is the bag I have been looking for, for the last 15 years. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone.

I already owned one Oakley backpack, the lack of durability made my backpack as a beachtowel backpack. When I saw this in store, as a tactical designer and seamster, I thought the backpack is very trendy and stylish. However, the lack of durability in stitching and material make it 2/5 stars. The buttom of this backpack only has one layer of 1000 or 500D fabrics. To qualfy as a heavy duty backpack, the buttom must be doubled in layers, because that's where it usually wears out first. The stitchings weren't reversed or bartacked, which I noticed one backpack in the store with stitchings undone. I was gonna buy it but the qualtity and craftmanship suggest otherwise.

Great Product! I am using this backpack for school, it doesn't has a huge amount of space in the main compartment for a ton of stuff, but is almost the perfect backpack.

Excellent bag - My husband is very picky about the back pack he carries. He had his former bag for almost 15 years and would not get a new one until he found just what he wanted. I had ordered shoes from you guys before and was very pleased with the items and service so I suggested he go to your site and see if you had any bags he may like. He did and he loves the bag he got from you and we will be using you for future needs. The bag was spacious, good looking and seems very durable.

Ok, I gave it a #1. The design of the bag is a top notch w/all kinds of useful compartments and would rated it a #5 on design but, the quality in craftsmanship lacks and Oakley would not stand behind their products. I had the bag over 1 year, but only used it 6 months when i returned from Afghanistan. The top carry handle ended tearing out on one side. The main zippered compartment flap has a seam around the flap, which also holds a lining w/the Oakley symbol. That lining separated from the seam which then frayed and would continuously get caught in the zipper. I contact Oakley and told them i would send them my defective bag if they sent me a replacement. They denied my request and don't stand behind their bags. I don't know if all are built that poorly. I never carry much weight in the bag, maybe a macbook pro, shorts, socks, and a t-shirt and a few bottles of medication.

This is my new favorite bag! It is a great well made bag. The material is strong. It isn't cheap or thin, but isn't really thick to weigh down the bag. The bag is light weight and fits well on my back. It has nice padded straps and even the backing has padding. It has tons of pockets and lots of room in the main compartment. On the inside it has an area separate for a laptop, my 15 fit in there perfect.It also has a side zipper on the side so I can get out my laptop quickly. It also has a pocket on the side of the bag on the inside which has velcro, it is a great place to place smaller items. It also has a back panel for pens and other places to store smaller items like a flash drive, etc. The top is really cool, it not only zippers close but it has tabs to make sure it is extra secure. The flap also goes over the zipper (all zippers have material over them), and this is great to protect the contents from rain. The material seems like it would stand up to some rain and snow and not have a problem. On the outside there is a place for my ipod touch, perfect fit, with a snap, and a little loop where the snap is so you don't damage your MP3 player when you snap it close. It then has a brushed filled pocket on the side with a snap (nicely hidden), where you can put your sunglasses (along with a loop on one strap for one). Then there are side pockets on both sides, on has a clip for keys, and the other is just all open space. Then there is a front pocket for other items that you wish to be able to access quickly. I can't wait to use this bag on my next trip. I know I will be able to put several days worth of cloths in it, easy. This is a great bag to get if you are a man or a woman, traveling or going to work/school. I use mine for school, I put my netbook, cords, mouse, textbook, notebook, folder with papers, along with other everyday things and still have plenty of room for a hoodie and other items with more room to spare. I can't wait to travel with it too.

Perfect for travelling on and off the airplane, and around town. Big enough to carry essentials, but not too bulky that it restricts movement. Replaces my briefcase when I need to be more mobile or need hands/arms free in the bad parts of town.

This backpack is very sturdy and much larger than it looks. I would defiantly recommend it to anyone looking for a backpack that can carry a lot and look good doing it.

This is an awesome bag. I carry my 15 Macbook Pro, iPad, folders, sketch book, a Wacom Bamboo and still have enough room to throw a hat, sweatshirt and sweatpants in this bag. It has plenty of additional pockets on the outside, a nice little phone holder on the front strap and even an iPod compartment at the top with a small hole for your headphone cable. I would absolutely recommend this pack, it looks awesome to boot. A must buy!
