My windshield has UV protection, so they don't darken enough in the car. The tint is activated by UV rays. Also these don't transition back to clear as quickly as I would expect them to, like when you walk into a building it can take a few minutes.
great so far

so far these glasses are awesome, i call em my happy glasses cause even when the clouds are out its still sunny with these on....they fit great too, only thing i havent experienced is the lens color change yet because it may need a lot more bright sun to work but its still cold and its been partly cloudy but some sun but i guess ill have to wait for some strong sun to tell a difference but as of right now im happy with the glasses and they came with a nice case with slots to put additional lenses inside...i decided to buy these so i would not have to have two sets of glasses outdoors and i just came back from arizona with my old pair and i almost burned my eyeballs out so i hope my next trip out there with these glasses they will prove themselves as everyone knows arizona has to have the strongest and brightest sun anywhere so im curious to c if they perform well or not well c....
Since the 1980s, Oakley has been providing U.S. troops with military gear and boots. Best known for its popular eyewear, it has spent millions on developing products for those in the armed forces. This partnership was formed to develop new technologies that improve the safety and performance of soldiers. Over time, Oakley's military line has transformed from a few models to a highly specialized division within the company. At its research facility in California, the company constantly works on new innovations. Some items are not available in retail stores, but luckily a number of military items can be purchased through public outlets.
