This hat was too small when I got. I ordered a size L expecting it to be slightly snug, but this would not even go on my head. However, the color is great and the quality seems good. Another patrol cap I got from Propper that was the same size fit just right, not sure why that is. Customer service did an excellent job of figuring out how to correct the issue for me.

not the same as my acu cover, not worth money the bill is short and the cover is basicly a thin piece of cloth sitting on your head.
We're so sorry for the confusion! This cap is actually made for BDUs. If you'd like to make a return, our Customer Service team can help you out. - TacticalGear.com

I have had many BDU Caps over the years and, without fail, the Tru-Spec 7.25" Cap fits me "high & tight" with the 7.5" loose. The only exception to the usual military size choices is Propper's ABU, Digital Tiger Stripe, where the size in-between the two above mentioned sizes is offered. Thanks to the note in the product description box, that indicates that these run small, I took a chance and ordered a 7.5" and was grinning from ear to ear when I put it on, and it fit! Even though I have so many I may have to think about flushing out all of my Tru-Spec "tight & loose" caps and take advantage of the opportunity to replace them with Propper caps that fit me as if they were custom made for my head.
