Great product, great price, just a great buy all around. There's always some sizing problems with clothing items, but I wear a size 12, and this size 12 was true to size for me.

    • Best footwear I've ever had

I got my first pair of these back in 2010 and wear them about 95% of the time. They're a little awkward until you break them in, and the lining isn't very strong, but if you double-sock, you'll be OK. Because they're waterproof, they don't breathe very well, and your feet will get hot. They work great on almost any surface, though, so they're worth it. After almost four years of use, they are only just now starting to fall apart. There are little gaps between the leather and the sole so my feet get wet just walking through a damp lawn, but that's the only real issue with them. They are hands-down the best boots I've ever purchased, and I'm getting ready to order my next pair.

I've taken these boots on several backpacking twips and couldn't stand to hike in severe or cold weather without them. They are definitely waterproof. Even after hiking 18 miles one weekend, my feet stayed dry (until I had to wade through water). They do run big, and they aren't the lightest. But it's still money well spent.

Run big compared to standard footwear sizes. Go one full size smaller when ordering. Besides that, the boots are comfortable.

    • Good boots if you break them in

My toes haven't been wet since I started wearing these. Even after two month, they is still no wear and tear that I can see. The break-in period was rough--I got bad blisters on my heels. Especially at first, the boots aren't flexible. This of course is a good thing in the end. After about two weeks, they were finally able to work with my feet, but at times it was painful to walk in them. After all that though, I couldn't be happier.
