  • 1 out of 5 The boots are very comfortable once broken in, and very easy to walk in and that is about it. even before the posted warranty the boot tread will peel off and flap around, had to glue tread back on , the cordura is too soft, even dry grass will poke through the ankle, comfy, but too soft. the speed laces get sharp as they wear down, slice clean through laces, the leather wears down to quickly even for JROTC cadet issue. For wearing around for fashion, sure that would be fine, but to use as boots for combat purposes or even ruck marches, i would never recommend. For those i would recommend Belleville, Altama, Rocky, even Nike or New Balance OTB.

  • 2 out of 5 Boots are very comfy when they first come out of the box don't get me wrong these are good for once in a while wear but everyday i work 12 hour shifts and the sole was wore out within a month in the heel area. If you spill something on them impossible to get rid of the spot. Also if your camping dont sit next to the fire or the sole of your boot with come off. So i guess you get for what you pay for

  • 5 out of 5 These are really tough boots. Bought my first pair in October '09 and I'm back to buy my second pair today. Can't say much for the comfort, but your feet get tougher. Great tread pattern, good for climbing up steep hillsides. I have used these boots in many 7 and 10 day expeditions, and although they are not waterproof they dry fast on your feet.

  • 2 out of 5 To be fair these are the most comfortable right out of the box of the 4 brands, Altama, Wellco, and Belleville that I have dealt with. The bad is the sole (tread) compound is to soft and wears out to quick. I have had these for about 3-4 months of everyother day wear and the tread is gone on the heels and ball area.

  • 2 out of 5 Bought a pair of these boots. They came in size wide, but actually were medium. Not very comfortable soles either. Heels are way too narrow.
