Note: Rothco offers a 15-day limited warranty on military boots. These boots are not built to withstand battlefield conditions.

Rothco boots tend to run a half size to a full size too large. We recommend ordering a half or a full size down. This means if you wear a size 10, you should order a size 9.5 or 9.

  • Cordura/suede leather upper
  • Padded collar
  • Removable cushion insole
  • “Panama” Sole

Rothco GI boots are made to a variety of U.S. military boot specifications. This line features basic combat boots, as well as boots suitable for specific purposes like combat-zone deployment and desert operations. Despite their different uses, these boots do share some common features. All of these boots include comfort collars and breathable uppers to reduce fatigue and a rustproof metal eyelet system that prevents damage to the lacing holes. The boots designed for harsher environments have specific traits, such as adjustable midsoles, that make it better equipped to deal with the stress of a difficult deployment. No matter where one is deployed, there is a GI military boot that can make the job easier.

Jeff, sorry to hear your boots aren't working out for you. The sizing on the website is a suggestion based off information provided by the manufacturer, and may change or vary depending on the shoe/rand/sizing that they are currently in. We would be happy to help you return the item for a refund. Please contact our Customer Relations team at any time to set that up.

    • Poor boot

Very poorly built boot. The nylon tears at pressure points and the eyelets come out. The sole wears very fast when worn daily I've had these for six weeks and they are fallin apart. The laces lasted two weeks and leather is dirty after walking to a local store I probably will never buy another pair and don't recommend these for daily wear

These boots are very uncomfortable and have almost non existant padding on the soule, sides. Although, around the top of the boot there is some decent padding. They stain very easily, just from day to day use. They have little to no support through the entire boot. It's about what you would expect for a $40 pair of boots. Save some money up and buy something with higher quality. Trust me, your feet are worth it.
