The G2X Tactical, a polymer-body version of SureFire's 6PX Tactical, is designed specifically for tactical use. Providing simplicity of operation and tremendous illuminating power in a small package, it uses a high-efficiency LED—virtually immune to failure since there's no filament to burn out or break—to generate a brilliant, penetrating, perfectly pre-focused 200-lumen beam. The G2X is activated by SureFire's classic tactical tailcap switch—press for momentary-on, twist for constant-on. The tough Nitrolon® polymer body is smoothly sculpted for a comfortable, secure grip and resists scratches, abrasion, and corrosion. A polycarbonate micro-textured reflector delivers a comparatively wider beam with generous peripheral light. SureFire also make an aerospace aluminum-body version of this light, the 6PX Tactical, and a dual-output version with a two-stage click-type tailcap switch, the G2X Pro.

About SureFire
- The tale of SureFire can be traced back to 1969, when Dr. John Matthews established the Newport Corporation. Dedicated to harnessing laser power for industrial uses, the company soon grew to be a leader in the field. After much success, Matthews turned his attention to his hobby of shooting and developed the first laser sight, which would lead to the founding of Laser Products. It quickly grew after loaning the L.A. SWAT Team laser-sighted shotguns for security at the 1984 Olympic Games. Years of working with law enforcement agencies led to the first SureFire weapon-mounted flashlight. Armed with this advantage, tactical and military operations have never been the same.

Mounted this to an M&P AR15 with MOE accesories. Looks great,will blind anything that looks at it.

Another HIT by Surefire! Only at a fraction of the cost of the more sophisticated models. This light casts a blinding 200 lumens in a fixed beam. The tail cap lockout feature is very precise and works within a "micron" of a twist. I upgraded from a G2, to a G2 LED, to a Z2 with KX4 head, and now to this G2X. Fits great in the V70 holster. Strongly recommend this light.

Great value of a High Power Light! Some people may want more functions, but I bought it for it's size, power, and simplicity!! A great light at a great price! I'll be buying more!
