The SureFire X300 features a high-efficiency LED that generates 170 lumens of brilliant white light focused by a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens to produce a tight beam with good reach and significant surround light for peripheral vision. The LED has no filament to burn out or break and generates tactical-level light—enough to overwhelm an aggressor's night-adapted vision—for 2.4 hours per set of batteries. The high-strength aerospace aluminum body is Mil-Spec hard anodized for superior toughness and corrosion resistance, and is O-ring and gasket sealed to make it submersible to 22 meters. The X300 Rail-Lock® system comes with adapter plates permitting rapid attachment to and removal from either Universal or Picatinny rails. An ambidextrous push/toggle switch provides one-finger operation for either momentary or constant-on operation. Optional pistol grip switches permit operation with the top grip finger, leaving the index finger free to operate the handgun trigger. Other switches are available for operating the X300 when attached to a long gun.
FITS: Handguns and long guns with Picatinny or Universal rails. Adapter mounts available for several non-railed handguns.

About SureFire
- The tale of SureFire can be traced back to 1969, when Dr. John Matthews established the Newport Corporation. Dedicated to harnessing laser power for industrial uses, the company soon grew to be a leader in the field. After much success, Matthews turned his attention to his hobby of shooting and developed the first laser sight, which would lead to the founding of Laser Products. It quickly grew after loaning the L.A. SWAT Team laser-sighted shotguns for security at the 1984 Olympic Games. Years of working with law enforcement agencies led to the first SureFire weapon-mounted flashlight. Armed with this advantage, tactical and military operations have never been the same.

This has the typical Surefire quality. I installed it pretty easily on a Glock 19. It is more difficult to remove it, but it is a bit reassuring to me that it takes some effort to remove. I like how it is easy to press for momentary ON, and I like how it can be switched to full ON with rotation of the switch in either direction on either side.

This is an awesome light for such a small package. I have it primarily on my S&W M&P9 but also have put it on my AR15. Great light.

This little light is amazing. It slid right on the rail on my glocks very tightly with no movement. It also slid onto a picatinny rail on my rifle as well. It slid slightly fore and aft but that is only because I had not installed the included picatinny slot adapter; although I am using it without it to allow me to swap between pistol and rifle. It's incredibly bright. There are cheaper lights similar to this, but this one is definitely worth the extra money.
