  • 5 out of 5 Comfortable right out of the box. Excellent support. I even wear them at the gym for weight lifting. They don't deform under heavy loads. I'd like to find an 8" winter (wp) version too.

  • 5 out of 5 I have over 17 years of government service from military to federal law enforcement. These boots are by far the most comfortable and rugged I've owned. Incredible product!

  • 5 out of 5 Wore these boots right out of the box and by the end of the first day they were broke in. I have a very high arch and these boots just conformed to it. No insole needed like in my other boots. It's light and breaths well. I live in upstate NY and the weather here this time of year swings a lot. It was cool and airy during the day while working but at night when it cooled down also kept my feet dry and warm. Would recommend this boot to anybody. Is more comfortable and a better boot than specialized hiking or boots that cost twice as much.

  • 5 out of 5 I've been running these boots as my everyday wear, hiking, and as well as punishing them on the range during my tactical firearms classes. I've worn several different brands of boots and these by far are the most versatile and comfortable boots I've ever worn!

  • Great all around light hiker.

  • 5 out of 5 I've had these boots about two years now and they are still as good as new. I use them primarily for hunting in rugged terrain, about 30+ days per year. The traction on the soles is fantastic, and I did not need any break in period. The insole is stiff, but some superfeet fixed that. Also, a couple of the lace hooks popped out on one boot, but they were easily fixed by my local cobbler. They are not waterproof at all. I've gotten them wet, and my feet were soaked. They are designed to drain and dry very quickly though. They are a very tough, light boot with a super tractive sole

  • Great general purpose boot

  • 5 out of 5 The Range Runner is great for those times when you need something more than a shoe but don't really need a full boot. I've been using mine for working construction projects and hiking thru the rocky desert trails in the area. I really like the fact that when you order "wide" you actually get a wide footbed, my toes are not cramped at all but my heel is still firmly in place. Sizing runs true. They are very comfortable and broke in with no trouble at all. The shorter height provides good ankle coverage, but does not feel as supportive as a full 8" boot. I wouldn't recommend these as a "combat boot" replacement, but they are excellent for light boot duty, the soles are tough enough to use around construction debris.

  • 5 out of 5 Great boot, comfortable right out of the box, not like the old boots I was issued. The sizing was accurate and has excellent arch support. I would recommend this boot to anyone who is on their feet for long periods of time.

  • 4 out of 5 The boots feel tough and rugged. They take some time to break in but get comfortable afterwards. Would recommend for day hikes. I work as an LEO for a government agency and use them for work. They are great in cold weather.

  • 5 out of 5 I like these boots, I would buy them again. My pair required a minor break-in period, but this was only around the ankle area and was due mostly to me being accustomed to hiking in a lower cut boot during the past several months. The size runs true, I buy my hiking boot/shoes a half size bigger than my street shoes to accomodate thicker socks, I recommend buying yours a half size bigger only if you like wearing thicker socks. I'm finding these boots to be perfect for our nearby mountain trails. Excellent footing, excellent durability.

  • 5 out of 5 I bought a pair of TR555 a month or so ago. I ordered the wrong size and I would have given them only a GOOD rating, and but I was going to order another pair sized correctly. Well, I did order another pair sized correctly this time. These TR555 have to be the, by far, the most comfortable pair of all around hiking type boots I have ever had. These are an EXCELLANT BOOT. Very well made and very good design. I only wore the smaller boots for about an hour, unfortunately I did wear them outside. Hopefully I will be able to resell them.
